The Windy City!

So, I just got back from seeing my husband after eight weeks! Oh, I'm so happy I saw him! So proud! He's not in Chicago, so we didn't go there; I only passed through on my way to the airport, but we'll be there when I visit next. The Navy is much better than I thought. I didn't have any military people in the family, so it's unfamiliar waters (haha!) for me.

I did return rejuvenated and better. It was a difficult separation for us, but God got us through, and now we can talk every day on the phone! Oh, that is so wonderful!

So, I decided to be adventurous, and I took a journey to the airport. On the way in, I took a rental car, but on the way out, I took a taxi to the base to get the train, took a train into the city, walked a few blocks and took another train through the city, and made it to the airport. All this before 7:00 A.M. Fun!!
