Aftermath

Well, I'm okay. The tornadoes missed me by a few miles. My hometown, where I lived until October when I married, has been destroyed by a tornado. The church where we were married is okay, but all of the trees are gone. Trees are everywhere, and these are oak trees that are over 100 years old. The downtown area is practically gone. Power will be out for about a week. I brought my parents to my place since we have electricity. Lines of cars to get gas are everywhere; the wait was two hours long yesterday, this this was where I lived. My hometown only has two working gas stations. Here's the actual tornado:

I live in Alabama. The death toll as of today is 238. It's awful. I have never seen it like this. The National Guard is in my hometown, and that county is a federal disaster zone. I don't recognize my town. My family is safe. Everyone is fine, but we were lucky. Please keep Alabama in your prayers. We have a long recovery.
